Problem with steering

This only happens when i go a certain speed just over 60mph.

I noitced this when i was on the motorway basically when i hit just over 60mph my steering goes light and i can move the steering wheel side to side slightly.

Ive had the car tracked and also ive had new tyres and the alloys were not fucked or anything.

Could the problem be power steering pump ?

Just a bit of play somewhere, could be the UJ on the steering column, the rack or track rod ends. Even other suspension wear such as ball joints can give similar problems. Remember the saxo is very light weight so if you are used to a more substancial vehicle you wil notice stuff like this that many saxo drivers consider to be normal.
Obviously if it gets worse then it needs checking by a professional garage.

Your cars got soooo much torque its doing a wheelie at 60mph.

    That explains your light steering.
