Important! : anyone who knows mk1 looms (alternator set up) please read

    right ppl, need help, just converted my 3 plug vtr to a single plug with a quicky single plug loom (rewired)

    got it all in and running eventually, set up and solved probs(i think) but my battery light is on, checked alt and i only have the bigger eyelet connected up, the smaller one (live from alt i think) isnt there, cant see it at all up loom, anyone know where it goes and how i can get around this, need help asap

    yes, i dont know what its for?, single plug quicky shouldnt have a 3 plug alt set up should it? i though it may be for this, so i tried the plug onto my 3 plug alternator before i wasted my time swapping them..it doesnt fit, maybe a diff plug? if you can guarantee this is my prob i can lop the plug off my 3 plug loom and them it will fit

    its not a 3plug alt setup, its just the later type.

    Buzz out the wires, one of the 2 wires will goto the ecu the other will goto the multiplug. Connect the one that goes to the multiplug to the ring terminal and your done

    right buzzed both wires, one buzzed on multiplug, one showed posi 17v

    while were on the subject, can you identify why my pas pump comes on with ignition even on first click and stays on while ign is on?
