Straight to the point, on a journey it will take roughly 10 mins for the needle to get the the middle, from then on if i stop in traffic atall the needle goes over and the fan starts then cools it down in a minute or so.
Just had a 20 mile motorway drive at 75-80 then parked up for a bit while i wait for someone and the needle goes all the way to 3/4 and the fan stayed on for a good 5 minutes to get it to half way.
Isnt the thermo supposed to release the hot water
and usually the needle drops a bit when doing so to bring fresh in?? Im sure my x reg mk2 1.1 did that and the fan on occasions, or is it just the 1.6 difference to the 1.1?
