Important! : Petrol Leak

   I have a 2001 Forte that has a petrol leak towards the rear on the nearside, I have looked under the car and there is some sort of cylinder with pipes going into, this is where the petrol appears to be dripping from! It only drips when the car is stationary, I am still getting 300+ miles to a tank of petrol. Can anyone advise what this part is and is it easy to replace or do I need to book the car into the garage? Thanks

   Fuel filter. It's cheap and easy to replace mate

   tisandy, I've checked it out further and it is the fuel filter!

   Ahh ok, because there's a little white thing also under the car which is near the fuel filter with 2 pipes going in then out.
   
   May have been a possibility..
