    i have found a single plug engine conversion i want to buy with a very good engine. however mine is 3 plug so the interior light is deifferant. would it be possible to get a 3 plug ecu and loom off another vts and use it on that engine?

    would it work with a gti ecu and loom also i.e gti ecu and loom with the vts engine etc?

    No, you cant mix the GTI and VTS looms, they have different connections to the interior loom. You may find some that do fit each other, but it would be long having to buy and sell looms over & over untill you find one that fits, IF you find one that fits.
