will aPiper 4-1 manifold effect sound of my exhaust?

    Hey guys... currently have a decate 3inch sportex system its loud but i love the sound of it, now if been offered a piper 4-1 mani will this change the exhaust note, pops and bangs? current pipe pops alot as my car overfuels a bit?
