Engine Management Light

   Got my car back from it's MOT today and it's running like shite.
   Idling erratically, popping like fuck when down-shifting, it pops like 2 or 3 times everytime I down-shift, and it has a lag between when I put my foot down and the power is delivered.
   Eventually the engine management light came on, and the car got to half way temperature really quickly and the fans kicked in.
   
   Any ideas to what this is? :/

   Sounds like a blocked cat to me...
   
   Quite possibly caused by the MOT tester banging the cat to make sure its working and not rattling.

   Sounds like it could be missing sparks or a timing issue.

   Sorry.
   Could it not have anything to do with the lambda sensor then? As I was getting real shit MPG this past month :/
   What could I do to check or resolve any of these faults? :/

   Would this have anything to do with the injectors? As i was told this was the problem, cheers

   I'm not sure, is there anything I can check to help rule things out? :/
