M3 mirrors, Yes or no ?

    No they came on my car and you cant see anything out of them, cant even adjust mine as the mirror wont budge

    there was some on my car wen i bought it. and they wobbled so much i couldnt use them. I took great pleasure in destroying them as soon as i got some standard mirrors on with matching caps

    Yeah still got them on at the moment. Can only see the pavements really, so im ducking and diving trying to get the angle to see properly

    I wouldn't. I used to hate them on corsa C's but now apart from actual M3's they seem to be the only car that can get away with it as they are standard on the SRi.
    
    I would go for 106 mirrors or at a push DTM ones.

    ill happily keep my standard capped ones, I was just interested to see what everyone thought as they seem to be going on ebay a lot.

    Yeah, they aren't great looking! Just thought I'd try and put you off with that picture! Mine got changed quite quickly for VTR mirrors with caps.

    I got my saxo about a week ago and had m3 mirrors.Dont even bother getting those on.I cant even adjust them to see the cars from behind and every time i try to make a manouver i have to stick close to steering wheel to check for a car behind..     Sorry for going a bit off topic now but i want to ask something. I will replace my m3 mirrors and i am considering which one i should buy. I was thinking for the oem electric ones but i havent found a switch for electric mirrors in my vts. Anyone knows if all vts come with electric mirrors as standar or its provided on full extra . It's a 2003 model btw.
