Creaky boot..save me.

   As the title really, when driving ive got a slight creak coming from the boot which is slowly making me want to learn how to create a noose. Any ideas? (on the creak, not the noose )

   I think I read somewhere the boot catch needs adjusting mate, have a search

   ive heard this prob before. something to do with the boot catch. are you sure its the boot though?

   Check boot latch and adjust so the boot needs a decent push to close otherwise it could be latched but not fully in the closed position. Adjust the catch on the body to correct. Also (I have the same problem) I managed to stop this from happening by rubbing some wd40 onto the seal with a cloth. It came back quite quickly so maybe next time I will use something better but the seal rubbing on the boot lid as the body/boot lid flexed was the problem.

   mine was the middle break light holster. Tighten the two torx screws holding it in. It rattles like fuck if its loose mate.

   Had a search performed the required treatments and nothing, still a wonderfull creak! Definately the boot as i let a mate drive while i sat in the back listening, any hints?
