Howling/Scraping noise.

   Ok ill try to explain this as best i can but its a little strange...just started to get a howling/scraping noise from the front end of my car somewhere, brakes, bearings and driveshaft have all been checked...pretty sure the noise is relative to the speed of the car rather than the revs. any ideas guys?

   Speed of the car would indicate wheel bearing or driveshaft issue. Is th noise still there with clutch pedal down? If so this will rule out the gearbox at least. Saxo front wheel bearings start letting go around 60-70K miles. Best bet is to get a garage to press them out and press new one in for you for a few quid.

   wheel bearing! haha sorted now mate, yeah its done about 73k so that makes sense
