I have an awfull knocking in my front left wheel could this be the wheel bearing? Also when i turn my wheel either way it makes a loud click or sumting to that effect.. Could anyone shed light on this as i have replaced,drive,droplinks,tie rod ends and track rod ends..

#4I hit a massive pot hole once in my subaru and its started making a knocking noise, i changed the hub as garage told me bearing callapsed, it was easier and cheaper for me to change whole hub than fanny about doing the bearings!
So yeah could be bearings -
#5How much did the hub set you back.. And how would i check if its the cv joint,it went tru test and didnt fail on anything like that and the knocking was in the car when it went in

#6I had a mad knocking noise on my old vts and i changed the wheel bearings and it was fine, they used to knock like fuck lol -
#7i had knocking in mine and it was the strut top mount, their pretty cheap

#8Ive got a Savage knock on mine and theres not really any good way of pin pointing where it comes from. so ive decided to change everything. driveshafts, drop links, Track rod ends, topmounts, bearings the works.
i even think the spax dampers and springs need changing. so at the end of that i shouldnt have a knocking problem. lol
