   EGR Valve, just recirculates some of the exhaust gas back into the inlet manifold

   Probably could if you just make the pipes/hoses longer. Havnt got one of them on my gti, think they just on 2001 onwards. But if you do move it, it may put engine managment light on if there's a slight leak. I wouldn't know for sure, only worked on a corsa one before.

   it is part of the fast warm up kit that was fited to the later vts engines and you can just remove it do a serch on here i think you just need a blanking plate have seen them dun but i have never dun it myself
