Red Saxo Black bonnet?

   Alrite lads as stated above i have a venetian red saxo and the bonnet is a bit bent from wen i bought it it was crashed before me and some dodgy repairs done.. i want a new bonnet to sit properly but having trouble finding one the right colour and dont want to getone and spray it because it will b hard ot get a perfect colour match..
   
   so im thinking what about a black bonnet because they seem a lot easier to come by and maybe getting the roof black too?
   
   how do yous think it would look or do u know of anyone with it done and how its looks..

   black bonnet will look fine, few cars on here have done it.

   thanks 4 d replies lads i tink im gona go for it sure if itlooks shit i can just get it sprayed an see how it looks den.. i defo wont b getin d boot done black coz from d side ull b able to see it come round onto the rear quater.. does anyone know how easy dat vynil wrap is to apply.. would be a handy way of doin d roof i reckon bu never used it before an dont want to fuk it up haha

   Heres what i would do if i was you, but its just me.
   
   Black Bonnet on it, get a set of fogs if you dont already have them, put a cross over the bottom fogs in tape of some sort. Wide arch rally flaps to the back, tint rear windows.

   Adding mud flaps and tape over the fogs looks beyond shit, your welcome to your opinion tho.
   
   As for the OP.. putting a black bonnet just makes the car look like its been in a crash and you cant afford to fix it.

    He's right, unless someone actually knows why you have done it, if there is a reason, then it looks like you've been cheap and wanted a quick fix to everyone.

    yeh, ive got nothing against people doing it, i nearly did it my self once,

    Yeah i think a black bonnet would look good on this, they look good on the old m1 saxo's because the grill is not attached to the bonnet is it?

    if you dont want it red, then id carbon wrap it tbh. id rather repsray it red than have a black bonnet tbh

    down 70 on front and was 80 on back but only 60 now coz had to change the axle last week so lifted it a bit..
    
    yea i was thinkin that about the black bonnet just looks like a cheap repair but if the roof was black too it would match and not just stand out but thanks for the comments lads and keep them coming..
    
    is carbon wrap handy enough to do yourself or would u want a pro to do it? ive thought about it before but ill stil have to buy a new bonnet anyway

    I reckon it would look better if you just did the roof black mate, along with gloss black bump strips

    Carbon wrap also cheapens the car but is a much better idea than rattling it black..

    im not rattling anything black if the roof is being painted i can get a sprayer to do it but im only worried about getting the bonnet done and the colour match not being perfect

    Surely, if your willing to pay for a sprayer to do the roof black, you may as well get them to do a red bonnet for you?

    wrapping would be chaper than painting. you can also remove it if you change your mind
