I've seen it done in a nova before but its a shit option as its too heavy its just for show more than anything a 2lt turbo is a far better choice but each to there own.

Anyway back to citroen...... I've heard of xsara vts engines being dropped in but rear mounted bike engines is the way forward.

bike engine, all power no torque and need to rev to 8k just to get the thing moving. if you're gonna mess around with engines in the rear, then put a proper engine in

a 306 gti-6 engine will fit in a saxo but will fuck up your turning circle, thers a blue 106 with one in a his wheels run on the gear box housing when turning as he hasnt got stoppers on steering rack

i have saw the one in the above pic before

cossie will go in! nicly too......

also so will some vauxhaul lumps i think!! i know they go in the 306 & if the 306 engine goes in a saxo easily enough im sure the vauxhau one would too.....!

peronally id keep teh VTR or VTS engine & mod that its light weight & not bad as a standard unit! add throttle bodies or charge it somehow & it flys.... i mean 200bhp+ from only a 1.6 unit.... thats amazing really! dont see the poinyt in adding say a 2.0ltr & only haveing 220 or so bhp.... my opinion tho... y not just add another engine in the boot.....
