Ok guys, i want to get a square front number plate, like this for my saxo -

As long as the spacing is correct and the letters the correct size then square numberplates are legal. But they look shit on cars with then bumper recess made for a long numberplate. Just look's bodged up and half finished.

I know, im getting the recess smoothed out, and having the plate to one side..

just wondering what the space/size law is?

I don't think it would look right imo, but everyone to there own.

Just get it made in halfords, then you know it will be the legal size and spacing

    Doooooon't doooooooo itttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!

    They're 13" x 7" if you wanna be a cunt though.

Sometimes 12" x 6" on the rear, but the legality of it being that small's questionable.

Buy a 5/6 digit plate from dvla or an Irish plate with lots of i's & 1's and cut it down to minimum legal size (11mm) space all round?

I hate cars having front number plates, they look so much better with out

so im going to smooth out the front recess, get a square plate that can be easily removed with a custom bracket

figured a square plate would be easier to work with!

Get one of those sticky numberplates and slap it on the bonnet
