Important! : Furio To Vts

  1. #1
right i have a furio that has been converted to a vts the furio is x reg and the donar car where the engine came from was 03.

now the problem i have is the speedo, revs, water temp, oil tmep dont work. i have tried the furio clocks and vts clocks and there is no diffrence they just dont work.

just wondering if anyone know why or what it would be could it be the furio was 1 or 2 plug ecu cant remember now. but the vts is 3 plug could this be why? or do i need to cut and reconnect the wires that connect from the engine harness to the car harness.

any ideas i would be much greatfull.

i think its something to do with the wires from the engine loom to the interior loom not matcing up properly or something if you search about you might find a thread on it

  9. #9
i saw one not too long ago but all i can find naw is to try dissconnecting the battery for an hour or so and see that helps at all or check fuses
  10. #10
yeah same i have tried disconnecting the battery no luck and i have tried the fuses and the same no luck i just cant seem to find wats wrong with it.
  11. #11
you may need to try and get some vts dials and see if they work
  12. #12
yeah i thought that and got some today and they are just the same only the fuel works.
  13. #13
    Anyone else any ideas.
  14. #14
your car was probably a crossover car using a single plug ecu but large plug at the end of the engine loom. if you unplug the engine bay loom you'll notice a lot of wires not matching up
  15. #15
what would you suggest to do with them not matchign up cut and spice them so they match then plug it back in.

  17. #17
    anyone this is important
  18. #18
or anyone with a wiring diagram for the engine loom to the car loom
  19. #19
you got a heynes manual i tryed to get the pin outs on here but didnt get anywere
  20. #20
so i need to look at the engine diagram for the vts then the the one for the car loom and join them from there.
  21. #21
i would say thats the only way you goin to get it sorted mate
  22. #22
all i need now is a pinout for the vts engine wiring plug. and then a pinout for the furio car multiplug
  23. #23
i didnt have much look on here when i was looking for them mate
  24. #24
na neather did i a have been looking all day and cant find nothing surely someone must have something
  25. #25
thats what i fort mate but i never had any luck
you may just have to buy a haynes manual
  26. #26
i dont think ti shows you in there does it and its complicated the way they put it if i remember correctly. i have autodata cd3 so i might see if i can get it installed on my dads laptop and hopefully that will have something
