Important! : Light on dashboard

   I have a light on my dashboard that constantly flashes, it is an orange square with a key symbol. It has no effect on the running of the car at all, just bloody annoying, does anyone know if I can disconnect a fuse or whether I should be concerned?? Thanks

   It's your Immobiliser symbol ..
   
   If your car is running fine with it on then i wouldn't worry,
   But if you're concerned get the car running and rip the black box out near the fuse box (whilst car is running) turn it off then back on again.
   
   Then the light should be gone and you're ECU will be unlocked to, bonus.

   Hi, I had a look for the black box by the fuse box, there is a black box with a white middle that looks like something should be plugged into it, does this mean it is missing something and pull it out anyway?? Confused and don't want to mess anything up!!
