Yes. I've just put a new VTR clutch in mine and a VTS box.

Yes you can, All you do is swap the box over

So im guessing on that note that a VTR gearbox would fit a VTS without changing the clutch?
How about a 1.1 box, im guessing the ratio would be shit but is that even possible? (asking this as my vts box is on the way out but do have 1.1 box kicking about)

VTS and 1.1 Ratio's are pretty similar, seemingly any Saxo gearbox will go onto any Saxo.

Ok that could be good news then, few bob saved. Im taking that when you say will fit any saxo that means I wouldnt need to change clutch too?
Sorry if question sounds dumb, still trying to get my head around the basics lol.

No, i've just been through all this when i put a VTS box on my VTR, If you have a VTS i would strongly recommend a VTS box though, the VTR one is dire, really poor ratios.
i have a 1.1 gearbox on my vtr and its so much improved on the vtr gearbox, so for a vts i definatly wouldnt recommend a vtr gearbox, and all gearboxes are interchangable. just a case of swapping speedo sensors
