Downpipe/Exhaust Problem.

  1. #1
Unfortunately I'm not lucky enough to own a VTR.

I do however own a Saxo 1.1 East Coast from 1999.

I've just managed to get it up and running engine wise, and its pretty solid.... For now...

I do how ever have a problem, i have a hole in the exhaust that the back box connects to, now this pipe is welded to my cat.. which is almost bang in the center of the car. Now i have a replacement cat and pipes, but i need to know if i need a new Manifold, or if the manifold and the down pipe are separate. and if so will it to be welded to the Cat?

    Hope you can help,

    Thanks.

    Sparkks
