MOT Failure

   Hi, Ive used the search but couldent find the answer.
   
   Car failed its mot on a couple of things, but the one i cant figure out is:
   
   Near Side Torsion Bar excessive plat at an end fixing [2.4.E.2]
   
   could anyone shed any light on the matter??

   You cant get play on the nearside torsion bar, there isnt even a plate there...
   
   There is a washer, but that cant have play unless the bolt has snapped in the torsion bar which is very unlikley.
   
   Id ask if he means the torsion bar or the ARB. More likley to be the ARB end plate.

   Sorry guys i miss spelt Play, I have found the problem and think i have fixed it. The bolt on the damper had come loose :s

   MOT tester sounds abit dumb then putting torsion bar plate down as the problem lol

   Im pikcing up on the torsion bar bit rather than the palte bit as the torsion bar and damper are completley separate.
