CV Joint

   Is it possible to take my cv joint out and clean it and re grease it to stop it knocking, or does when its knocking mean its fucked :/

   I think it would be possible but you'll still need to replace it in the next few months, just rip the thing off and change it, wont have to worry about it then.

   Do you know what other joints fit bcos not keen on spending 50quid on a drive shaft from ebay :/ I bet most of the high powered 106's do ?

   Is it hard to tighten the cv joint? Are they exspensive? Mines knocking and im gettin a new one next week but id like to tighten it untill then

   Been looking for a thread like this... My CV joint is knocking like hell and dad says I need a new one. Any ideas as to where I can get one from? Not seeing any on ebay :/ Also needing a bonnet release handle

   No you cant tighten then, i think once they knock they've had it.

   My local factors have them for 45quid.. Are they hard to change because mine is gettin annoying..
