Ive bought some 50mm apex dampers for a bargain! But i've been told by a very reliable source that my new springs need to be used with shortened dampers as they are not a progressive type, which cannot be used with standard dampers...any input? i cant really afford to buy new dampers so maybe ill sell mine if this is the case
spax 50mm springs vs standard dampers

#2you could run it with standard dampers for a while but they will probably end up nackered as they are not made for shortened springs so yeah you would be better off waiting to get a set of shortened dampers

#3Anything lower then 40mm and you really need new dampers
you "Can" use lower springs on standard shocks, but this can lead to all kinds of problems, and you dont want them to give out while your driving
its up to you, but my advice would be to do it right first time, or dont bother at all. -
#4completely agree dano hopefulli ill have some shortened dampers on route
