lost the key!!

   my mate just bought a wee saxo the same as mine only ph1 and lost the ONLY key within an hour the silly boy. whats the best plan of action to get it running asap. is it a case of just changing the ignition barrel or will there be problems with the immobiliser? its a keypad immobilser. and when we get round to changing the locks how do we get the petrol cap off without the key?

   is that really a STYLING and INTERIOR (Aka seats, door cards, roof liner) Question?
   Try problems and queries just below :|
   
   I have heard that any saxo key will open any saxo fuel cap, dunno how true that is, havent tried my self
   -Fail on citroen's behalf if that is true lol

   i actually ment to put it in the other section anyway i just didnt notice i had the wrong tab open when i typed that. but on the other hand i was asking a question about the ignition barrel which is inside the car...

   Try some one else's saxo key in the petrol cap tho, might work

   doesnt work, at least not on 106's so i doubt it will on saxo's

   my key doesnt fit. his key was kinda flat looking compared to mine. (i mean the metal part aswell) i have the immobiliser chip in mine?

   probably not true as the locks types vary whether you got a 1.1 or a VT. Haven't checked beyond that..

   My vtr key is different from my gti key so i guess they wouldnt be the same..

   so we got the ignition barrel changed but now we have a new problem, it cranks on the second position rather than third. how could that happen?
