power steering pump..

   had a search but still not sure. the pump wont turn on when the car is first started. will come on a short while after and works fine once its on. anyone know what could cause this ?

   mine did it. just hit it with a hammer or if that doesnt work do what i did buy another one lol

   like i said it works fine once its on... could the relay cause this ?

   You could try another relay,but more than likely the brushes are sticking in the pump,temporary fix as said is to hit the pump.
