engine management light

   Hi, just wondering if its worth getting a new lambda sensor if im getting a decat pipe, the engine management light is on and code showed was the lambda sensor. Will the light stay on after a decat..mk 2 vtr

   Yeah mate if you decat it usually keeps coming back on you can buy a sleave to stop this

   Don`t get a new sensor just buy a sensor,or make 1 out of copper pipe,gmcmotorsport sell the sleeves btw.

   tie the sensor out the way
   have the light turned off
   and dont boot it when its cold...the light wont come back on.
   
   ive told too many people this too many times. and had to reset their lights too many times.
   
   boot it when its cold, expect it to come back on.
