Can a lambda sensor cause the car not to pull properly?

As title says. When accelerating the car jerks when trying to accelerate like its not pulling properly. This happens more when the engines cold. Gets a lot better once warmed up but the problem is still there. The car also shakes a bit when idling when cold. Also the engine management light is on.

Heres some pictures of my lambda sensor im guessing is faulty partly because its covered in oil lol.

Probably not the lambda as it doesn't do anything when cold and when accelerating.

You need to plug in a diagnostic

Those pics are well blurry but isn't that the oil pressure sensor?

Ive no idea I assumed it was the lambda sensor but maybe not.

Lambda sensors are bolted into the exhaust that looks to be in the filter housing? If so its oil pressure sensor

Lambda sensors have a heating element so when your engine is cold and your lambda sensor is breaking down it`ll cause poor running issues.Your 1st concern is to sort that oil leak out before you go any further.

so both of the sensors cud b broken u mean? Ive been told a lambda sensor is broken from a mate that did my MOT. So that explains the poor running when cold and when accelerating. Then the oil pressure sensor is causing the oil to spit out more? It wud make sense.
