Right, i need someone to clear this up for me...

    APEX 50MM SPRINGS 40-010

Do I HAVE to fit shortened dampers aswell?

Apex have told me they would advise doing this in ALL cases and on their product catalogue it does not say "have to use shortened dampers" - BUT may people have told me i need to. Does anyone know if I HAVE to change the dampers also? If i need to i will sell the springs, hope you can help

You don't have to use shortened dampers with the springs but it is the best to do usually

People usually go 60mm with standard dampers, might be harsh ride but people live with it

going down 50-60mm will leave your car with little or no suspension movement before the dampers bottom out and you sit on the bumpstops. This will give far less control with the car as the suspension compresses. Plenty of people run just springs, but that does not mean their cars handle well as the suspension is worked hard.
