Sanding Wheels

   Hey, not sure if anybody has had the same problem but i'm sanding my wheels with a palm sander and also using paper and a sanding block but some parts of the wheel just won't go down to bare metal! Its almost all completely sanded down to the metal but theres small patches where and type of sanding won't touch it. Any suggestions welcome if theres anybody thats been there before!

   its probably just low spots in the wheels that have filled with paint, does it feel smooth when you rub your hand over the patches or can you feel a ridge

   It does feel smooth yeah, should i keep going with the sanding and hope for the best or just leave those patches?

   if they feel smooth i would leave them and spray them with primer see what it looks like then

   a light coat of primer then a light sanding with some wet and dry
