Important! : Lost 5th gear and massive fuel consumption. .

   Alright guys. . lost 5th gear last night. . when it went ti sounded like a pop..was that just a linkage going. . or something more serious? Its having trouble now getting into any gears. . i thought the clutch was dodgy as it was whirring all the time when the clutch was engaged.....
   Could it maybe just be that it needs gearbox oil. . .
   And another quickie. . .on the induction kit. . the tubing still has the afm socket. . but no actual afm there. . .this im guessing would lead to it overfuelling. . am i right?. . . i thought an afm was essential?

   Hi mate. . found out that is the box was virtually dry. . which meant the clutch went. . cos i was forcing it into gears. Got a new box and clutch put in yesterday. . and now there's a lil bit of oil leaking from the shaft seal. . hopefully thats just a lil bit of leftovers from the previous box. .
   
   Just to add insult to injury. . 5 mins down the road. . the center pipe split into. . .
   I,ve had 2 vts. . and this is my last.
