snapped mirror

   woke up this morning to find some arsehole has snapped my driveres side mirror off only thing is some of its snapped inside the fixing plate , is there anyway this can be fixed as it is or will i need new mirror and plate ? . if i need new think is should get some gti mirrors ?

   No chance of fixing it. . unless you dont mind welding. . but to be fair its cheaper to just buy a new wing mirror and fixing plate. The same happened to me. . it broke at the hinge. . so it was beyond repair. I found some lovely silver dtm mirrors on ebay. . universal fit. . and it now looks the don. . as my cars silver too!

   Just pick up another one from the scrappies, that happened to me.
   only cost me 15 quid and takes 5 minutes to change
