VTR Seems not very responsive when ticking over (Almost stalls when you rev it)

    My VTR Mk2 has been standing still for around 2 weeks on the garden

    Just started it up as i'm driving it to work tomoz and let it tick over, i reved the engine a little and sounded like the engine was about to stall.

    Looked at the air filter and it seemed ok. Any other ideas what it might be? Just needs a good run?

    if its been stood for just a couple of weeks, it will just need a run. had my rover sat for a couple of weeks while i was on holiday and when i started it up, it mis-fired bt once i pulled away it fired up on all cylinders and stopped coughing and choking. the oil needs time to warm up and circulate the engine, just take it easy till the oil is warm and fully circulated

    fuel filter maybe?
