Does this sound about right? Or is my vtr just a fuel saving sex goddess?

I'm quite proud of this! I feel like I've achieved something.

But I really want to swap my black mk2 vtr for a 106 quicksilver, I prefer the looks.... I wanted to swap because of my poor fuel consumption, but after a service and a full tank, and reset the clock, seeing this result is making me wanna keep the black pearl, anyone get anything like this?

My old VTR used to do around 370 from £55 but that was motorway and town driving

Thats *60mpg + or - a few MPG. Are you sure this is correct?
If it is you have town driving off to an art!
I get 42-44 from my early silvertop Mk2 single plug vtr and thought I was doing well lol.
I would only expect that MPG from a diesel normally.

    *Calculation £50 get you 37 litres @ £1.35 a litre - 37 Litres = 8.3 Gallons - 490miles/8.3Litres = 59.03 MPG

Ha! I feel blessed, it's like an air powered pocket rocket, I bet the petrol fairys keep topping it up through the night though! I drive like an old woman with a Zimmer frame, I sometimes let my foot run wild in 2nd, in first when I blip the throttle my wheels spin and I feel like a pimp

Really! Jesus, well I always used to put 20 quid in and it never lasted more than 3 days, so I filled it to the brim and reset the clock and drove as sensible as poss, change gear at 2,000 and tried to do 35-40 in 4th whenever I could, and that's the end result, I'm well happy! With a piper cross induction a straight through down pipe and a power flow back box

Can you even get away with a vts in London? Ha I mean the centre of London, one of my worst nightmare fears is driving in London, especially in a vts! Going so slow all the time.

I managed to get 630 from my golf last weekend. But that was pureley motorway driving and i drove like a sensible nun.
Think i managed to get 300 from a full tank in the saxo but it was running like a pile of wank.

Damn, how did you know! It's probably because my car isn't lowered, thereof it's so high off the ground the wind just pushes it!

    lol sweet nice stuff
i think going to 25£ lasts me about 160 miles but i never know whether to put £50 in for the week or 25£ or the 2-3 days due to it being lighter with the 25£ tank eg more mpg or to put in 50£ for convienince
