advice on full exhuast system

    Just quick question which youve probably heard a million times, but i want to put an exhaust system on my 01 plate vtr from cat back, i want it fairly loud lol . thought about taking out the middle box and puttin a better backbox on it but thought ide ask first if theres any recommended systems?

    Straight through middle section to cat and a magnex backbox would be alright but i still dont think it will be loud to be honest, you would have to de cat it with aftermarket manifold and straight through running to the backbox being the only silencer, But then you will loose back pressure which you dont want.

    Could always save up for a good manifold and something like a saxsport race system or supersprint

    ive got a mate who used to have a vts whos gonna give me his 4-2-1 manifold, so i think ill save up for a few weeks or so and get a race system then. cheers for that mate

    That 4-2-1 won't fit your VTR.
    VTS is 16v, and VTR is 8v, different manifold setups.

    Ive got a Magnum supersprint backbox for sale, supposedly a loud system (havent had it on the car yet)
