helooo everyone , got my new saxo today 1.4 furio with vtr arches on it etc , got in the car it was ok on the way home but i noticed biting point was really really low down and then after driving it tonight i was on a hill and i held it on clutch for about 3 seconds ready to set off and put the revs lifted it up ( you know the drill ) and it stalled , i thought wtf so i started it up with handbrake this time did the same thing and it stalled again and then this burning smell of clutch came in the car and it was awful i eventually got it going but the revs literally went to the limiter almost before it moved and it clanks sometimes aswell , nooby question but am i right in thinking clutch is on its way out ? its done 80k miles and i dont really know much about cars :/ any help please ? also prices etc cheapest way to get it fixed

( sorry for the essay )

its a weired one as a guess if the bite is low then no the clutch is fine. Then on the other hand what you said after that i would say yes the clutch is on its way out. How far is the clutch cable adjusted is it nearly adjusted all the way out.
