3 point trs harness on standard vtr seats????

    i need sum advice ive fitted a roll cage in my car which means i can have the standard seat belts in anymore as they dont fit between the the cage and the frame of the car,can i fit my 3 point harnesses onto the vtr seats or is this not safe/legal? if it can be dune can you advise me how? cheers

    will they buckle up right?

    Remove the plastic around the seat buckle, unbolt the buckle. Bolt in the the harness there.

    I assume you have already got rid of the standard belts so bolt the other side of the harness behind the door on the floor. It's where the little black railing for the standard belt bolts in.

    Bolt the rear of the harness to where the rear seatbelt buckles went.

    yea its safe enough but christ your going to luck like a tool, i no my mate did when he drove round in a standard seat with a harness

    +1, I had them on standard seats while I waited for my subframes to arrive. I looked like a twat and they weren't very comfortable either.

    I would just buy some bucket seats and go all in!

    I dont think harnesses on standard seats or very safe, the 2 straps have nothing to stop them slipping down? Id say get buckets and go all out.

    it doesnt look good & also there are a few safety problems with this. use the search button and have a look its been covered before.
