I recently replace my whole exhaust system, my old one was off an old Pug and didnt fit right caused the whole downpipe plate to shear off the pipe.
I have replaced this with a standard downpipe (with lambda) to the rest of the pipe with the standard spring bolts.
I have been driving it with the new exhaust system for about a week now, and just lately i have noticed a noise coming from the engine area when building revs or power up (mainly when going up hill) like air rushing out...
The swap over went fine except the back (third bolt) on the mainfold unthreaded right out of the mainfold and corss threadded towards the top, and wouldnt go back in, so there are only two bolts holding it onto the engine, and i noticed the lambda was loose, as the old pipe cracked the downpipe im too scared to look and see if it has cracked again, would it have?
and there is a squeeky noise when i move the back box (it shakes right up the pipe)would this be a fitting on the car or is this the springs? (brand new spring set) i notice it when going slow and from 1st to 2nd with windows down....
