headlight adjusters

   do you need headlight adjusters on your lights for your car to pass mot??? ive sin pics of these adjusters but dont have them on the back of my mk1 lights??? HELP!

   all headlights have adjusters, either manually,electric or both. to pass an mot your headlights need to be at the right height, if their too low/high it will fail.
   mine was 10mm too high on 1 headlight, and he failed it

   you only need them if your lights need adjusted for mot. mk1 i dont know where the adjusters are. put your lights onto a wall at night to see how far off you are

   mk1 adjusters are on top of the headlights, you will need an allen key to adjust, iirc turn it to the right...raises and turn it to the left....lowers
