Where is my radiator drain plug!?

  1. #1
    Hi
I'm attempting to bleed and refill my coolant as I can hear it has air in the system
(thanks to those on my other thread)
Anyway, I obviously need to bleed the radiator out
I have found 2 of the 3 bleed points.
The one up near the drivers side suspension mount
The one at the top of the radiator

But I can't identify the thermostat screw
And I can't see the radiator bleed screw that is apparently at the bottom of the radiator :/
It's on a MK2 VTR by the way

    HELP

Apparently my Saxo doesn't have this 'plug'
And should just have the hose taken off instead :/

    Can anyone clarify this info?

The bleed point by the thermostat is a brass coloured round allen key bolt iirc?

As for remving the bottom hose, yeh thats fine, I think what i did was disconnect the bottom hose, let it drain out, then disconnect the top hose, remove the radiator from the car and flushed it out completely with a hose.

its to the front right of the engine beside the little loop for lifting the engine out a little allan key head.. you'll have to take out your stat if you want to do a proper job and flush it..you might aswell if your changing the coolant.. and just pull the bottom hose off the rad to drain it.. use this its a good guide
