#3swap whole axle and depends how much knowladge u have doing it best doing it on a weekend
-
#4well wat this about some axles having abs and some not what do i do?
-
#6considering your car wont have abs (i presume), you can use an abs axel as you wont have to worry about any sort of of abs light coming on, just tie the sensors back as said, incase you ever want to sell the beam again, it can still be used on a car with sensors.

#7Cheers guys lots of help, any idea on how long it would take to fit

#81st time i have ever changed a rear axle, had a mate helping me (again 1st time for him) took 10 hrs with complications from start to finish

#10some tips:
you can keep everything connected to the calipers and just disconnect them from the beam and move them out the way. saves replacing the brake fluid.
when your about to drop the beam, attaching the wheels can make it easier to drop it and move it around as theyre quite heavy1 user thanked this post: -
