Coolant heating up too fast?

   Hi
   I drove 6 miles today in my 02 VTR
   The engine temperature hit the mid Mark between base low and hella-hot
   Is that normal?
   I thought that was a bit excessive :/
   Waiting in traffic was no longer than 2 minutes :/
   And journey time was around 15 minutes :/

    I had this problem when I got mine, I have just flushed all the collant out and re filled. It works a load better now doesnt heat up as quick. twin fan needs to happen though I think.
