Lowering the rear

  1. #1
    Hi guys,

some of you will prob laugh at my question but i dont know so i thought id ask

The front of my saxo has already been lowered before i bought it - however i want to lower the back... do i need to buy lowering springs or is it as simple as taking to garage and getting them to adjust torsion bars?

    Thanks,

    Sam

the torsion bars need to be adjusted and it would be best to go with some uprated dampers

As above, although shocks aren't essential.

I posted in your other thread... i can do the torsion bar for you.

How long would this take to do as i would have to travel from near Chichester. Would i need to leave car up there or? Also how much feel free to PM me a reply if you would rather.

£60 for just the rear and done in about an hour. You're welcome to hang around, i'm located between Horsham and Dorking.

Ok thanks Kris. Will have to sort out a booking in after pay day may get you to do a full service too (excluding sparks as i done about 4 days ago myself). Also have a problem with central locking may need looking at but i will give you a PM to book up at some point

Can fully reccommend Kris, he lowered my car and did a few other jobs for me and i've had no issues at all and his prices are far more than fair definitely worth a travel
