why does no one have the answer?????????

    i own a 1999 vtr which cuts out.it does it whilst driving at high speed or on idle,changed icv,tdc sensor ,diagnostics read no faults every garage iv been to say that they dont want to get involved been on multiple forums and im not the only person with this problem but still no one knows how to solve it .its getting to the point where i now have to plan my routes as i break down loads, any advice would be great thanx for taking the time to read this depressing woffle

    Fuel pump? Blockage in the fuel lines? Fuel filter?

    had new fuel filter and system checked i also think its electrical ,a member said try new map sensor and lambda sensor could this be it, if i clean sensors it runs fine for a day but then gets worse and starts cutting out

    That or maybe a loose connection on the knock sensor?

    Make a note of which sensors you clean & the result afterwards then you`ll have an idea of which sensor/s may be faulty.

    my mates stepdads car did this it would run fine cut out not start or even fire it would just spin on the electric starter then all of a sudden fire into life and drive fine again, turned out fuel pump had a block in it.
