Gearbox FOOKED

   hi guys, i was driving today lovely, when i pulled up at a roundabout the gearstick suddenly was VERY VERY loose, im trying to find the gears, and where my reverse gear is meant to be it just clunks against metal. like its disappeared.all the linkages are still on. ideas? or just fucked

   well im trying to find the gears, when i get it in to gear it wobbles so much.. like its in neutral

   can ya select any gears from under the bonnet?

   yes , except reverse, it just clunks against something..

   does it select gears nice or sloppy

   sloppy. was perfect. if i put it in gear, any gear (except reverse obviously) i can move the whole gearstick around the side to side and up or down.

   It was a roll pin, about half the size of my little finger, replaced and now gearbox is a dream again.
