Bosch fuel pump leak

   My diesel pump in the engine bay has started leaking but in a really weird place. It is leaking from the very top of the pump where the throttle cable is attached to. Is there a way to fix it or is it a replacement pump job.

   only does this at the start for a couple of minutes then stop. I think it must be a seal somewhere. Any ideas?

   It is leaking at the base of the throttle lever where it goes inside the fuel pump, don't think its salvageable

   I thought it was a cheap bargain ... how wrong I was
   
   Total now is:
   
   150 for car
   50 for battery
   80 for alternator
   10 for thermostat housing
   16 for thermostat
   ?? for second hand fuel pump
   
   306 + Only consolation is its been fun fixing it

   how much is a second hand bosch fuel pump? Is 60 quid reasonable?
