Key fob has broken.

   Last week my key fob stopped working.
   
   My mate chucked it but it fell short of me. (good one)
   So now it doesnt lock or unlock the car.
   I sent it off to a guy on ebay who fixes them, he said there is nothing wrong with the fob.
   
   I checked the fuse for the central locking and its fine. he said i might need to sync it again. How do i do this?
   
   or does anyone know how to go about fixing it. or what the problem is?
   just a small thing like this missing is so frustrating

   Could be the battery in the fob?

   nah, the guy who i sent it off to changed the battery and double checked everything inside the fob.

   Not sure if the key fobs have any lights on them? Try this, Not sure as it is for a C3.

   not sure if this actually works but worth a try?
   
   CITROEN SAXO 99 > - Remote Key Programming
   
   1. Unlock the vehicle using the Key.
   
   2. Press the LOCK button 2 times within 20 seconds of unlocking the vehicle
   
   found it on an old thread on here.

   Just tried these two. they diddnt work ARGGHHHH SO FRUSTRATING!

   have u had a look at the battery connectors inside the fob mine keep bending down when the fob is pushed back together i fixed it by wedging a paperclip in ther in the end lol

   this might work... worked with me..
   
   turn the ignition on.. but dont start the engine
   while you do that hold down the bigger button on the fob
   then the doors should hopefully lock/unlock or what ever
   
   thats how i managed to re-synch mine .. let me know if it works

    Try Citroen? if they can tell you whats wrong with it you could get the work done else where for cheaper?

    Might be de railing the thread here, but do all VTRs have remote locking? I bought my car but didnt receive a keyfob with it. Apparently it was advertised as being capable but just didnt have the fob.

    just took it apart. played around with it and nothing has changed.
    going to go citroen during the week.
    do i ring up and ask for appointment or just turn up and ask for help?
