cv joint?

   Put some new alloys on car this morning and when I took front passenger wheel off on the inside of the alloy was full of grease n crap will this be cv joint

   mine has done exactly the same since i bought it, theres no splits in anything so do not have a clue where its coming from lol, after i cleaned all the grease off it hasnt happened alot since....ill get it sorted one day lol

   most likely, have a look if the boot has come off

   Sometimes the grease will leak out. However, the only fix is to replace the CV boot, if you're doing it yourself then get a stretchy boot kit and a cone to stretch it over. Once you take the shaft apart at the end it wont go back together without hours and hours of fiddling.

   as above the boot has probs come off at some point and they havn't bothered to clean it off the wheel.
