Mpg and v power petrol

    hey , all does any one know what the mpg should be for a 1.6 i automatic mk1 saxo ? recently ive only been getting 200-260 miles to a tank a full 45L
    and seems like something wrong recently had air filter change and also i've seen on other posts that some people have changed to vpower or other "premium" petrols can you just change or will the car not like it as i dont wanan change and f**k Up the engine hope someone can help

    that's almost half of the mpg you should be getting. tbh, v power will make no difference at all.

    Yeah that's not good miles to the tank at all . Well thats if u have been driving economically . Should be getting at least 300+ . last weekend for fcs I managed to get 330 miles from a fully brimmed tank out of my vts . Give it a good service?

    ye i boot it now and then but im not driving 100% reving the guts out of it every one i ask just says its cuz its a automatic but i mena 100mile+ just cuz of a gearbox , im oil changing on tuesday with my girlfreinds dad what other things you think i should service ? stupid question but does teh fuel filter/spark plugs affect mpg ? cheers all
