How much did you spend?

  1. #1
What mods have you got and how much did they cost you?
(Or a total if you have so many you cant list )
  2. #2
    Check the 'Garage' on here.

Aint got a clue about my black VTR though. About £2500 on suspension, 1 seat, harness and brakes, rad, wheels, exhaust.
  3. #3
ive spent around 2 grand on mods over the years for my car
  4. #4
Dont you ever feel weird spending more money on the car than it actually cost to buy? Id be so gutted if it got stolen/written off and all that money had been spent on it :\
  5. #5
Spending little money really. Spend 3k on a Saxo and you got a car that can out perform alot of new 15k cars. In a smash you aint gonna break much apart from the shell and rad. Buy a new shell £200, new rad. Slap it all together job done.

You don't even want to know - for the same reasons as above. All the haters jump on the bandwaggon "waaa you could have bought a Toysupa Megapower 1000bhp tri-turbo for that!!!"

    OK I'll bite.

£8,500+ this year so far. £15,000+ last year. A few £x,000 before that in the last 9 years I've owned it. Not to mention the £12,000 I spent buying it in the first place.

    2k....
  29. #29
Less than £3k in the Mazda so far, and that includes buying it.

Don't think my 106 stood me at much more than that, and that had 3 engines... Gotta love being tight, and buying pretty much everything second hand.

  32. #32
i would say ive spent about 1,500 - 2,000 on my saxo thats buying it, repairing it after 2 crashes and buying and selling mods lol
  33. #33
Oh boy, this is a nasty thread, makes me think about how much money i put into my car...

    New rims... OZ's
    Short shift
    Steering wheel + boss
    Carbon air intake
    4-2-1 Raceland manifold
    White Birba plasma dials

    And then the stereo:
    New HU
    Amplifier
    Speakers for the doors
    Active sub

And then there are all those small things that you never keep track of, - like wires, nuts, paint... all those things used for the hidden floor.... hmmm

At this point i would say something like £1.500, and not even half done yet
