clutch cable

Anybody know offhand the proper order the clutch cable nuts/bushes go back on.

On the cable after the clutch fork is the order thick rubber stopper bush > small rubber washer > copper washer then the 2 small nuts.

Also how does the first part of the cable itself go back into the support bracket on the gearbox (where the steel cable ends and the protective tube starts). Is it forced back in cos the rubber stopper has an outer rim that is larger that the hole.

I've just read that back to myself and it makes no bloody sense but might get lucky and someone will know what I'm getting at.

Hard to explain without a picture !

If nae one else gets you a pic, i'll do it probably Tuesday when i get a chance to look at mine again as im having a mare getting mine sorted.

However sounds like your description is spot on and the other part will be forced on once you have used the clutch, therefore possibly requiring a slight adjustment on the cable after your 1st drive.
