gunking engine over . .

    hey iv got the aerasol gunk to clean up the engine on my vts ... its saying i have to cover over the electrics .. does this include all the plugs and air filter ? ... would it be ok to spray over the plugs with wd40 as like a waterproof ?

    Don't spray directly onto ecu, sensors such as temp sensor should be okay as long as you don't jet wash them to death. If in doubt take the connector off and wd40 them to remove moisture that coul dcause future corrosion. use a brush to work the gunk in (note some brushes use ametal collar to hold the bristles and you can easily scratch your paint work - wrap some tape around th emetal to stop this happening). Use on a cold engione as well. If plugs get wet you may get a misfire until things dry out.
